International Nudist Festival in Zipolite, Mexico

What to Expect

During the Zipolite Nudist Festival weekend, a variety of activities fill the days and nights. Mornings begin with nude yoga on Shambala Beach, followed by volleyball tournaments, beach games, and body painting. Evenings bring everyone together for communal dinners, lively parties, and live concerts under the stars.

Most activities are free, though optional excursions such as nude boat tours on the Pacific come with a small fee. Above all, the festival is a joyful opportunity to connect with nudists from around the world, make new friends, and celebrate freedom under the warm Mexican sun.

GNI's Involvement

GNI is a major sponsor of this international event. On January 31 at 9:00 pm, GNI will host a nude cocktail party for men only. There is room for a maximum of 35 people so make your plans early to join us at ChiZme Bar. Clothes check will be available.

First Time in Zipolite?

Welcome! You’re in for an unforgettable experience. Just keep a few things in mind:

Hotels:
Clothing-optional hotels fill up as early as six months before the event. Many beachside hotels relax their clothing rules during the festival, but rooms go fast—so book in advance. Some small inns don’t offer online reservations, but availability is very limited. If Zipolite is fully booked, look for accommodation in nearby towns.

Safety:
Zipolite is generally safe, but as with any large gathering, take precautions. Keep valuables secured in your room and avoid bringing them to the beach or parties. During evening events, occasional harassment has been reported—if you’re partying nude, it’s best to go with friends.

Money:
Local ATMs often run out of cash before the festival begins. Bring enough pesos with you to avoid inconvenience.
